I was taking him to school, and it ran out in front of the van. It stopped for a while once it had crossed the road and watched us for a bit.
We were both so excited! Almost every night we hear coyotes, but none of us had seen one until then. Now, every morning on our way to school, James and I have our eyes open - ready to see another one! :)

Lucky, you guys to get repeated sightings of a Coyote! (Love the name you've given him.) My coyote "expert" tells me Coyotes are smart and sneaky, and therefore, not easy to see. So it's great that the two of you are getting so many "good looks" at him.
